Ice caves in the underwater world of Lake Sassoli
In the photographs presented here Franco Banfi / Barcroft Media / Telegraph sealed caves Sassoli alpine lake in Switzerland, which are formed from ice.
Alpine LakeSassoli (Sassolo), located at an altitude of 2074 meters above sea level, was formed catabatic waters from the Alps. During winter thelake freezes completely, and in spring it get water melted mountain glaciers. As a result, the lake Sassoli are accumulated numerous icebergs, which create an amazing beauty of its underwater world.
