Let's talk about GOLD

Let's talk about GOLD

Sought after since the beginning of recorded history, gold remains a highly valued metal, reaching record highs recently, climbing over 135% in value in the past year alone. The recent rise in the price of gold comes just as annual worldwide mine production has decreased - down by nearly 8% since 2001. In human history, only 161,000 tons of gold have been mined - more than half of that extracted in just the past 50 years. Collected here are a handful of recent photographs of people searching for, mining, rediscovering, celebrating, buying and selling gold.

Hava Katz, the head of the national treasures of Israel's Antiquities Authority, holds up a 1,000-year-old gold coin minted in Egypt and dated 1,095 AD, supposedly brought to Jerusalem by Muslim pilgrims, during an exhibition at the Davidson Archeological center in Jerusalem's Old city on November 11, 2009.

Cola Powered CellPhone

Cola Powered CellPhone

What are you doing when your cellphone battery was run out?? find a nearest electricity to charge it?? it was the old ways to charge your cellphone. now you can charge your cellphone battery with a coke! yes with a Coca Cola

This Cellphone might be the most bizarre cellphone ever. usually a cellphone use a lithium battery as their energy source but not with this phone. this Cellphone was powered by Coca Cola!! so that’s why we could call this phone as the Coca Cola Powered Cellphone. this cellphone made a breakthrough in the Cellphone industry. this is the first cellphone who use the Bio Energy to replace the battery role.

Chinese designer Daizhi Zheng has created a mobile phone that uses sweet drinks like Coca Cola instead of lithium batteries. this might be the creative idea of him

Zheng has been working on this revolutionary device for Finnish cellphone giant Nokia, and claims he has come up with a way of using sugar-based drinks to power mobiles. Any sweet drink, even sugar-sweetened water would be enough to keep the phone running much longer thanlithium batteries

The bio-battery invented by Daishi Zheng generates electricity from carbohydrates, using special enzymes as catalysts. In the process, the device generates oxygen and water. The designer claims his sugar-based bio-battery lasts up to four times longer than a fully charged lithium battery and is much easier to recharge: just pour some more sweet fuel.

Lithium batteries are very expensive and harmful for the environment, so if Zheng’s Coke-powered cellphone turns out to be real, it would be a significant breakthrough

Canopy Living: The Ultimate Tree House

Canopy Living: The Ultimate Tree House

There’s the tree house your Dad built for you in the backyard, and then there’s the tree house Robert Harvey Oshatz built in the forests of Portland, Oregon. Designed in 1997 and completed in 2004, the Wilkinson Residence is in perfect harmony with its surroundings. Built on a steep sloping lot, the living space resides amongst the forest canopy, making your morning coffee most enjoyable. With more curves than Lombard Street, the Wilkinson Residence is a property you have to see to believe.

A lover of music, the client wanted a house that not only became part of the natural landscape but also addressed the flow of music. This house evades the mechanics of the camera; it is difficult to capture the way the interior space flows seamlessly through to the exterior. One must actually stroll through the house to grasp its complexities and its connection to the exterior. One example is a natural wood ceiling, floating on curved laminated wood beams, passing through a generous glass wall which wraps around the main living room.

Love is in the Air

Love is in the Air

My definition of love …

is different from the book

my definition of love

is more than just a look

love is more than a word

more tha song, more than a note

love is more than a poem

more than anything I’ve wrote

love is teaching out to touch someone

to be sure that they’re there

love is leaning in to kiss someone

to remind them that you care

love is looking him in the eyes

and whispering in his cars

love is cuddling when she cries

and catching all his tears

love is the warmth shared between bugs

when everything else is cold

love is knowing they’ll still be there

when everthing else is old

love is hearts beating faster and faster

while everything else is slowed down

love is singing sweet songs to him

even if hundreds are around

love is driving through the rain

to help someone through tough times

love is me wishing that you’ll love me too

wishing you’d be mine

love isn’t just holding hands

love is holding hearts

love isn’t where it ends ….

love is where it starts ….

If U love me ………… leave me a message

If U like me ……….. leave a comment

If U wanna date me ………… leave you number

If U think I’m cute ………… leave a comment on one of my pics

If U care abaut me ………… leave a caring message

If U hate me ………… why are you reading this?

If U wanna be friends ………… send me a gift

REPOST AND SEE HOW MANY MESSAGE/COMMENTS U GET!!

AND YOU’LL BE SUPRISE

Love is not how you forget

but how you forgive.

Not how you listen

but how you understand.

Not what you see

but what you feel

& not how you let go

but how youhold on.
